Background

​

Thread radio is a crowd sourcing radio application that allow users across the country to obtain information and content from various community radio stations. And also give community radio station workers to get exposure from potential employers at large.

Brief

​

Design an awesome UI ‘style-Kit’ for an upcoming app (Think about a cool theme or Idea you can execute).
Eg. Come up with a cool name for the app, and then move onto a basic logo design, and then develop style tile or design kit that can be applied throughout the app.
Think about buttons, stats, graphs, widgets, icons, color palettes and typography to create an awesome design kit for the app.

Insight

How might I create a cool and impactful app for community radio station to have a platform and be accessed from all over the country and not be bound by the transmitter reach.

Rational

​

Logo was constructed by using a share icon, dots for needle holes that allow thread to go through and the play button to listen to radio. The name Thread radio was inspired by the thread on how it connects the fabric and shape it to look good and be worn. That comes to the app actual meaning on how it connects the community radio stations and workers to reach more audience and the listeners to consume information whenever they are.
